Mengyu graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a BA (Hons) Highest Distinction in Psychology in 2019 and has since been doing research on the therapeutic properties of role-play. She also has strong interests in synchrony analysis, fNIRS and has secondary research interests in dyadic co-regulation, alexithymia and child development in low- and middle income countries (LMIC).
